Can I change plans if I want to?
Absolutely. WellCare wants you to be completely satisfied. If you find a plan that better meets your needs, you may make a change during the annual enrollment period between November 15 and December 31. Click here for a review of our plans.
Can I get prescriptions through the mail with WellCare?

Can my Medicare-eligible spouse join WellCare too?

Can I get drugs from Canada through my WellCare PDP?
No PDP can offer you coverage on drugs from Canada. Instead, you can enjoy a great prescription drug benefit from a local pharmacy.
Can WellCare refuse me PDP coverage if I take a lot of prescriptions?
No PDP can refuse to offer any Medicare-eligible person coverage. But, you should be careful in your choice of plans to make certain that you are saving as much as possible. Always consider using generic drugs too, which are less expensive for you than brand name drugs.
Should I still keep my Medicare Card?
Definitely. You’ll still need your Medicare card for all your doctor’s visits, hospital visits, medical tests and anything that has to do with your health care.
Will my Medicare-approved drug discount card still work?
Your card was offered only as a transitional step to help you save money until the new PDPs became available. These new PDPs will save most people more than the old discount cards. You can use your old card until you join a Medicare prescription drug plan.
What if I am on a limited income?
You may qualify for extra help from the government. People who are eligible for this extra help may pay no premiums, no deductibles and no more than $5 for each brand prescription. Click here to learn more.
Is there a limited enrollment period?
Yes. You may only enroll in a Prescription Drug Plan from November 15 through December 31.
