Who can Save? | |
The typical senior who enrolls now can save about 50% on prescriptions. So, Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs) are generally worth considering. | |
Even if you don’t spend a lot on prescriptions now, no one can predict the future. A PDP provides
peace of mind in the event that your prescription costs rise in the future.
Those who have drug coverage through Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans H, I or J should also
consider PDPs, because they can be a less expensive option. The same goes if your prescriptions
are covered through an employer plan or your union. Just ask your Benefits Administrator for
more information.

Important: If you are part of a Medicare HMO that currently offers prescription coverage,
you probably won’t need a PDP.
